Jake Muirhead
Muirhead earned his MFA in Printmaking from George Mason University and is currently Associate Printmaker at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center in Silver Spring, Maryland. He also teaches drawing at Montgomery College. He is a member of The Society of American Graphic Artists and is, along with his father Bruce Muirhead, a founding member of Atelier Four, a group of four printmakers who share a passion for drawing based printmaking and traditional intaglio techniques. He has exhibited his etchings in numerous national and international print shows. Jake lives in Takoma Park with his wife, Ginna, and their son Andrew.
