Meaghan Busch Irvine
Meaghan Busch Irvine has lived many places but has spent most of her life in Sarasota, Florida, which is known for its
rich history and involvement with the Ringling Circus. She received her BFA from the Corcoran College of Art & Design
in 2008. Meaghan then received her MFA in Critical Arts Practices at George Mason University, focusing predominately in printmaking and soft sculpture, with her printed imagery often becoming the blueprints for her sculptures and installations,
She is a passionate printmaker influenced by childhood memories, folklore, fairy tales, circus imagery, dreams and nightmares. She currently resides with her spouse, daughter and three pets in Virginia, making art under her own studio named Blue Cat Press.
