received degrees in architecture and fine arts from Princeton and Yale. She has worked for Cesar Pelli & Associates in New Haven and Davis Body & Associates in Manhattan. Eve Stockton is known for her large-scale woodcut prints. Her imagery is nature and science-based and has been featured on many covers of Nature Genetics Magazine. She has exhibited at Brown University, Providence, RI; the Wexford Arts Center, Ireland; and at the Inverness County Centre for the Arts, Nova Scotia. She won the Second Prize Award in The Prints America juried competition (juror:Jacob Lewis, Pace PrintStudies from Norwich University. She has curated exhibitions at Montpelier Arts Center and Howard University and has exhibited at the Hampton University Museum in Hampton, VA, Flashpoint Gallery in DC, and The Banneker-Douglass, Museum in Annapolis, MD.s, NYC) and Best in Show Award at the Ridgefield Guild of Artists juried competition (juror: Benjamin Genocchio,NYTimes). Eve regularly exhibits in the CT, NY, and DC areas. She is an active member of the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk; Silvermine Guild Arts Center, New Canaan; and the Washington Project for the Arts, DC. In the DC area, she is represented by Long View Gallery, Washington, DC and Gallery Flux, Ashland , VA. Her work is in many private and public collections.
